After visiting Miami for a short vacation, Sildy Cervera quit her job at a Washington, D.C. based think tank to pursue a career in her family’s real estate business. “With encouragement from my aunt Alicia Cervera, founder of Cervera Real Estate in 1969, I made the move,” Cervera says.
She was based in the sales office of The iconic Atlantis, built in the early 1980s. When she became a mom, Cervera moved overseas to Japan and Italy, living abroad for 11 years. Upon return, she was involved in the early stages of South of 5th developments, starting with the pre-construction of Portofino Tower and Related Cervera projects: Yacht Club, Murano, Murano Grande, Icon and Apogee, where she was sales manager. She also managed I Star Residential’s Ocean House and worked sales of 321 OCEAN from the Aria Development Group.
In her 25+ years, Cervera has worked with developers, architects, construction companies and designers, relationships giving her a true understanding and insight of the business. Assisting sellers, buyers and investors from Chicago, Washington, D.C., L.A., New York and Europe, Cervera listens and tries to fulfill as many of their wants as possible. A member of the National Association of Realtors and the Master Brokers Forum, Cervera is a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist with many awards to her name, including Top Producer at Related Cervera and Cervera Real Estate.
Cervera is involved with her church and the Miami Beach K9 Knights, an organization that matches canines with police squads. “To date, we’ve donated 17 dogs. “The Knights have a strong emotional investment in the bond between the dogs and their handlers.” She supports disaster relief and charitable causes inside and outside of the country. In her free time, Cervera enjoys cooking, biking, yoga and travel ans speaks English, Spanish and Italian.
